Usyk. The world loves a strong postage stamp

The Usyk postage stamp is dedicated to the remarkable Ukrainian athlete Oleksandr Usyk.

Oleksandr Usyk is not only a hero in the sports arena but also an individual whose example inspires millions. As the undisputed world champion in cruiserweight and heavyweight categories, an Olympic gold medalist, and a multiple-time champion of Ukraine, Europe, and the world, Usyk has earned a reputation as one of the greatest boxers of our time. However, his achievements extend far beyond sports. At the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Usyk founded a charitable foundation that supports the Ukrainian army, aids war victims, and promotes educational initiatives.

The stamp sheet "Usyk. The World Loves the Strong" features six stamps, each with a denomination of "U" (equivalent to the domestic tariff for mailing a simple letter up to 50 grams) + an additional 5.00 UAH designated for social (charity) purposes. The total print run of the issue is 420,000 stamps. Additionally, there are 30,000 “First Day” envelopes, 30,000 artistic postcards, and 500 presentation folders.

The artist behind the stamp, sheet, envelope, and postcard is Serhii Tekhov.

The release of the "Usyk. The World Loves the Strong" stamp continues Oleksandr Usyk’s mission, as part of the proceeds will be directed by Ukrposhta to the charitable projects of the Usyk Foundation.

A special non-perforated numbered postage block "USYK. The World Loves the Strong" will also be available. The denomination of the stamp is "P" (equivalent to $5.00 USD + 20% VAT). The print run of this postage block is 6,000 copies.
