Set of postal envelopes "The code of the nation is Ukrainian embroidery" 12 pcs
The series of postal stamps and envelopes "
Nation Code - Ukrainian Embroidery" was founded by the Ukrainian postal
operator in 2018. Embroidery on clothes
is the main attribute of Ukrainian folk clothes. In order to find the
appropriate ornaments, Ukrposhta turned to various sources: museums of culture
and life, collectors, craftswomen. On the basis of antique embroidered towels,
shawls and folk costumes, it was possible to create sketches of stamps that
became famous all over the world. Each region of Ukraine has its own ethnic
features and characteristics, so the stamp series consists of several issues.
It is very diverse and interesting.
By the end of 2022, the series "Nation Code -
Ukrainian Embroidery" consists of 12 issues. All of them are very
interesting and colorful. Each stamp
issue has a corresponding envelope.
Circulation of postal envelopes for each issue is 2000-3000 pcs. Therefore, buying an envelope from the "Nation Code" series can be considered a real luck. Envelopes with the image of embroidery are valued among collectors and there are many who want to add them to their own collection.
