Lesya Ukrainka 150 years since her birthday postal block

A beautiful, bright postal block is dedicated to the famous Ukrainian Poetess. Lesya Ukrainka (Lariisa Petriivna Koosach) is known in the genres of poetry, lyric, epic, drama, prose, journalism, developed the genre of dramatic poem in Ukrainian literature. She worked in the field of folkloristics (she sang 220 folk melodies) and was actively involved in the processes of the Ukrainian women's movement and national revival.

On postage stamps, Lesya Ukrainka was depicted on publications of the Underground Post, on stamps of the Ukrainian diaspora. There is a portrait of the poetess on stamps of the Soviet Union.
