To Mother's Day. I live with you… Postage stamp
The postage miniature entitled “To Mother's Day. I live with you…” is a deeply emotional art issue dedicated to one of the most touching holidays of the year. The author of the design was Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Ohapkin, whose previous creation “Under the Cover of the Virgin” won the online vote for the best postage stamp of 2024. This year, his iconographic style comes to life again in a new philatelic work.
The center of the composition depicts an emotional scene of an embrace between a woman in traditional Ukrainian clothing and a military man in camouflage. The woman, symbolizing the image of a mother, gently wraps her son in a bright yellow embroidered scarf. Her face radiates deep sadness and tender love — an intimate symbol of motherhood, the price of protection, sacrifice and expectation.
The period 2022–2025 became a real renaissance of Ukrainian philately. In the conditions of war, postage stamps became an important element of cultural resistance, preserving national identity and recording historical events. Issues on current topics acquired not only postal, but also artistic and documentary value, significantly increasing interest in collecting among Ukrainians and the international community. Collector's sheets became symbols of unity, memory and faith in victory.

The circulation of the postage stamp "To Mother's Day. I live with you..." is 320,000 copies, the face value is indicated by the letter "U".
The official introduction into circulation is scheduled for May 9. The new issue is already available for pre-order in our postal market.
