Postage stamp "Russian warship... EVERYTHING! Glory to the nation! "
W
In peacetime,
criminals in the modern democratic world are treated quite humanely. But in
wartime, the price of retribution for such a crime is existence. This is what
befell the Russian ship with the crew. They did not just illegally cross the
border, but invaded someone else's water space and threatened the territorial
integrity of an independent country.
What is known about the second stamp
during martial law
Postage stamp
"Russian warship... ALL! Glory to the nation!" is the second in a

of the ship, the success of both issues only increased. And even 5 times larger

The series with the
ship greatly supported the spirit of the military and showed the whole world
the determination of the Ukrainian people to defend their lands from invaders.
Philately has long been an effective tool for disseminating information.
Therefore, the event is immortalized on the pages of modern history.
The idea and purpose of creating a
series of stamps
Usually, the issue
of stamps is not a quick process, because it is carried out in accordance with
a previously drawn up and agreed thematic plan. But the events of 2022 with the
introduction of martial law have made their own adjustments. The decision to
issue a stamp that would correspond to the present was made exclusively by
Ukrposhta.
First of all, the purpose of such releases is to support the army and call on the whole world not to be indifferent to the events in Ukraine. The country is fighting against the invaders who are outnumbered in manpower and equipment. Therefore, in addition to decisions to condemn the actions of the aggressor country, there is a need for real help.

The first issued
stamp is based on the expressive phrase of the Ukrainian border guard, who
motivatedly replied to the captain of the Russian ship to surrender. It became
a kind of resistance slogan. And when the enemy ship was sunk, the second stamp
seemed to emphasize the seriousness of Ukrainian intentions to fight for their
rights, independence and integrity of borders.
What is depicted on the stamp
The series with the
ship is presented in the dynamics of events. If the first stamp depicts the
enemy as a potential target, the second shows the effectiveness of the methods
of struggle. Since the first series was instantly sold out and not everyone
could buy it immediately. The second series has an additional coupon on the
sheet, which reminds how the first stamp looked like.
Looking at the
postage stamp "Russian warship... ALL! Glory to the nation! " the
most obvious difference is the absence of a cruiser on it. Perhaps it is on the
stamp, but hidden from the viewer at the bottom of the Black Sea. In the center
is the same Ukrainian military man. He continues to watch the sea horizon,
standing on the steep coast. And his right hand is raised towards the enemy,
showing an obscene gesture with the middle finger raised up. In his left hand
is an automatic rifle.
The horizontally
oriented stamp has inscriptions along the edges. In the upper left corner is
printed in large black font the inscription "Ukraine". Below the
inscription is duplicated in English in a smaller white font. To the right of
the upper inscription are the initials of the artist. In the upper right corner
of the stamp is printed in black the coat of arms of Ukraine and the year of
issue of the stamp. A little below the coat of arms is the denomination in the
form of a capital Latin letter W in white.
In the lower left corner of the stamp there are two inscriptions, including the date of the sinking of the ship and the phrase in capital letters "RUSSIAN WARSHIP... ALL". The inscriptions are made in white, the date is framed by a rectangular frame.
