Fighters of evil postage stamp
Fighter jets are exactly what Ukrainian defenders lack in order to more effectively liberate the occupied territories from the Russian army. At the time of the invasion of the Russian occupying forces on the territory of Ukraine in 2022, the Russian army was considered the second strongest in the world. In February 2022, the aggressor's army, consisting of more than two hundred thousand people and several tens of thousands of pieces of equipment, crossed the border of the Ukrainian state in seven operational directions. The occupiers met stiff resistance from the defenders of the Ukain State. A huge number of volunteers joined the ranks of the armed forces of Ukraine.
The Army of Ukraine did not have the required amount of heavy weapons to defend its territories and a significant part of them was lost. The Government of Ukraine actively participated in the process of finding partners for the supply of the necessary weapons. At first, the leaders of European states ignored Ukraine, handing it over to the Russian aggressor. However, thanks to the persistence of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, it was possible to convey the injustice of this war and the plea for help to the European society. The leaders of the countries of the European Union began to allocate the necessary weapons to Ukraine little by little. At first it was Kevlar helmets and medical kits. A little later, Ukraine received portable anti-tank systems and howitzers. With the onset of 2023, armored personnel carriers and tanks began to arrive in Ukraine. The Ukrainians began to liberate the captured territories bit by bit. Unfortunately, time was lost and the enemy managed to build a very strong line of defense and very densely mined all the lands they reached.
Armored vehicles were unable to advance. The infantry had to go ahead and clear the road for the tanks. The Government of Ukraine once again appealed to its partners for assistance with a request to allocate F-16 aircraft to Ukraine. And although the planes were promised to Ukraine, the decision on their transfer was blocked.
Ukrposhta wants to draw the attention of the world community to the problem of the transfer of airplanes by issuing the "Evil Exterminators" postage stamp. Ukraine is begging for help!
