In war, not only bullets are important - words are also important. The stamp "Mission: Truth" honors those who hold the information front - journalists, cameramen, photojournalists. Their weapon is the truth. Their task is to record history, often risking their lives.
Each of the six stamps of the postage sheet depicts two people - a reporter with a microphone and a cameraman with a camera. Their silhouettes in bulletproof vests with the inscription "PRESS" stand against the background of a flash - a symbol of an explosion and at the same time the light of truth breaking through the darkness. They are witnesses and spokesmen for a reality that cannot be silenced.
The graphic panel of the sheet, on the left, complements the composition: the inscription "HEROIC PROFESSIONS. MISSION: TRUTH" is stylized as a flash. In the lower part - a destroyed building and the flag of Ukraine, which burns with light even in the darkness. This image is a symbol of invincibility and the power of the word.
