20 years of the first stamps of the Underground Post, a series of stamps (8 stamps)
In 1961, the "Underground Post of Ukraine" issued a large anniversary series of stamps on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the organization's first stamps, which were issued back in 1941. This series is an important event in the history of PPU, because it symbolizes two decades of struggle for Ukrainian independence and cultural identity.
The series consists of ten stamps of different denominations and shades. The main motif of the stamps is the trident - the coat of arms of Ukraine, which acts as a symbol of national resistance. The dates 1941–1961 are also present on the stamps, and the central element of the design is the image of a postage stamp with an ethnographic map of Ukrainian lands. On the background of the map is clearly written "Ukraine", which once again emphasizes the idea of the unity of Ukrainian territories.
The denominations of the stamps vary from 5 to 30 shaz and are presented in various color combinations: from red-brown to blue-gray. Each denomination has a unique palette, which makes the series not only philately valuable, but also aesthetically appealing to collectors.
5 steps - red-brown/sage-green
8 steps - fiery yellow / olive gray
10 steps - pale pink / slate purple
12 steps - turquoise-blue / orange-red
15 steps - olive yellow / maroon
16 steps - blue / brown
20 steps - pastel / brown-olive
24 steps - sage green / brownish purple
25 steps - orange-yellow/gray-green
30 steps - blue-gray/brown-gray
The circulation of stamps with Perforation was 800 series. Circulation of stamps without perforation is 200 series.

In 1941, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists issued its first utility series of stamps, which was intended for postal use in the liberated Ukrainian lands. The total circulation of the series was 100,000 copies, however, due to the German occupation policy, most of the circulation was destroyed during revisions. Only a few copies have survived to this day.
Despite the fact that the "Underground Post of Ukraine" officially began to operate only in 1949, the issue of these stamps in 1941 is considered its first significant event in the history of Ukrainian philately. Stamps became a symbol of the national movement, despite all the difficulties and obstacles of that time.
