In honor of the 80th anniversary of the enterprise, Ukrposhta has issued an artistic postage stamp and a stamp sheet "80 years of JSC "Antonov". The history of the Antonov enterprise began in 1946, when a design bureau was created under the leadership of the outstanding designer Oleg Antonov. Since then, the enterprise has gone from a small team of enthusiasts to one of the most famous aircraft manufacturing centers in the world. Over the years, more than a hundred types and modifications of aircraft have been created, and the total number of machines produced has exceeded twenty-two thousand units.

The transport aircraft An-22 Antey, An-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mriya brought special fame to the enterprise. They set hundreds of world records and proved that the Ukrainian design school is one of the best in the world. Over the years of its existence, Antonov aircraft have set over five hundred world records, and the company's name has become known on all continents.

During the years of Ukraine's independence, Antonov became one of the symbols of the state's high-tech potential. Even in the most difficult periods of its history, the company continued to work, create new projects, and maintain the authority of Ukrainian science and industry. This story gained particular importance after the start of a full-scale war, when the image of the Mriya destroyed by the Russian occupiers became a symbol of pain, but at the same time a symbol of the indomitability of the Ukrainian people.

The stamp sheet consists of four identical stamps, united by a common design. The field around the stamp is decorated with aircraft drawings, technical diagrams, design sketches, and elements of engineering graphics.
