The Stamp Series Printed in Cleveland to Mark the 40th Anniversary of the November Uprising
This stamp series was printed in Cleveland to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the November Uprising.
The stamps depict prominent Ukrainian political figures and leaders of the government of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic. The series consists of five stamps, each with a face value of 10 shahs. At the top of each stamp is the inscription “November Uprising.”
At the bottom of the miniature, the years 1918 and 1958 are indicated. At the very bottom, in small letters, is the inscription “Ukrainian Museum Cleveland, Ohio.” The stamps feature members of the WUPR government, as well as the coats of arms of the Ukrainian Galician Army and the city of Lviv:
